Writer Has Little Belief in Government Integrity

Dear Source,
The statement,"Andrews said she felt teachers deserved more pay, and the government might be in a position to offer more once officials had a better sense of how much revenue will be lost because of changes to the economic development program. " is ludicrous.
The phrase "might be" is the escape sign.
This government has seldom lived up to its contractual obligations regarding money matters, performance of services, or payment of debts.
If the teachers believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and the Tooth Fairy, then they can believe in the integrity of the V.I. Government as far as the illusion of contractual responsibility is concerned.
