Senators Invited to Coral Bay Council March Meeting

Feb. 28, 2005 – The Coral Bay Community Council monthly forum will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 7, at the John's Folly Learning Institute. This will be the first in a series of meetings inviting groups of senators to come learn about Coral Bay and discuss issues of local importance with our community. The usual format will be extended to 90 minutes or longer to accommodate the discussion, according to a release.
Sens. Craig Barshinger, Louis Hill and Roosevelt David will be at this meeting. (Senate President Lorraine Berry and two colleagues will be at the April 11 meeting.)
At the March meeting, senators will engage in a discussion with the community on escalating land values and property taxes, as well as presenting their legislative agendas. Everyone is invited. Anyone wishing to participate in the CBCC task force on land values and property taxes is encouraged to contact the CBCC office at 776-2099.
