News Brief: Two Guilty on All Counts in Murder Trial

Feb. 5, 2005 – After hearing testimony from witnesses, reviewing evidence and listening to closing arguments on both sides, the jury in the week-long murder trial of Gregory Williams and Kendall Williams found the defendants guilty on all counts.
The jury began its deliberations about 7 p.m. Friday wrapping up the day at 11 p.m. The jurors returned at 9 a.m. Saturday to continue with deliberations. Their verdict was returned at 3 p.m.
Both men were found guilty of first-degree murder, aiding and abetting first-degree murder, first-degree assault and unauthorized used of a firearm during the commission of murder.
The defendants will receive their sentence March 16 in Superior Court.
