Funeral Is Jan. 4 for Accident Victim Javon 'JJ' Alfred

Dec. 28, 2004 – Viewing and funeral services will be held Jan. 4, 2005, for accident victim Javon Jade Alfred, age 7, of Enighed No. 6 I, St. John.
Javon, better known as "JJ," was a second grader at Julius E. Sprauve School. He was on his way home from school Dec. 22 when he was run over by a truck and died at the scene.
Javon is survived by his mother, Deverell Jackson-Alfred; father, Davidson Alfred; grandmother, Veronique Alfred; grandfathers, Mario Jackson Sr. and Dennis Alfred; brothers, Maurice, Myron, Malik, Marcus, Stevens, Sasha, Davon, Javed, Troy and Devonte Alfred and Brendon Jennings; sisters, Delrise Stevens, and Kijanne and Berlinda Alfred; and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, with the funeral following immediately after, both at Nazareth Lutheran Church on St. John. He will be buried in Cruz Bay Cemetery. Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.
