Flood Mitigation Project Work Closes Route 732

Nov. 1, 2004 – A portion of route 732, known as the Frangipani/Baron's Castle Road, will be closed Tuesday.
This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the motoring public as the construction of a flood mitigation project continues, according to Herminio Velazquez, deputy chief of police.
The portion of the road to be closed runs from the eastern end of the Frangipani community at the top of the hill and going east, down the hill just before the road goes into Estate Glynn.
The police department press release adds that full closure of this road, for an undetermined period of time, is anticipated as the construction project progresses.
