WICO President to Speak at Ad Club

Nov. 1, 2004 – The Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands will kick off its 2004-2005 Professional Series with a luncheon at noon, Tuesday, Nov. 9 aboard Navigator of the Seas. Edward Thomas, president of West Indian Co., Ltd., will speak about "The Continuing Growth of the Cruise Industry." WICO will be charting out cruise ship arrivals for the coming season. According to a press release, more ships may be coming docking in St. Thomas because of hurricane damage in the Caymans, Jamaica, and other islands. The event will also include a tour of the ship.
Reservations and payment for the luncheon can be made by calling Video Audio Communication at 776-7635. The deadline for reservations is Friday, Nov. 5. Photo identification, such as a passport or driver's license, is required to check in at the Tourist Center on the Havensight Cruise Ship Dock at 11:30, Tuesday, Nov. 9.
