Assisting Swimming Seniors Is Course Subject

Oct. 6, 2004 – Employees of the Department of Human Services Senior Socio-Recreational Division will participate in an American Red Cross Basic Water Safety course at Magen's Bay on Friday, Oct. 8.
The course will be conducted by One Swim, Inc. a non-profit organization that teaches swimming, water safety and other marine related activities.
Participants will engage in classroom instruction, discussions, and practice water skills in an effort to learn how to best assist seniors during their weekly beach outings.
