Aug. 30, 2004 – All V.I. government employees who have two or three years before retirement are invited to a "Count Down to Retirement" Workshop Wednesday, Sept. 8, on St. Thomas.
The Government Employees' Retirement System is holding the workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the conference room on the third floor of the GERS Building, right off the Waterfront downtown. The workshop will cover healthful living, Social Security benefits, health insurance coverage, Medicare, investment options, GERS benefits, and more.
