Humane Society Annual Meeting Is July 8

July 3, 2004 – The annual meeting of the Humane Society of St. Thomas will be held on Thursday, July 8, at the Bolongo Beach Bay Resort beginning at 6:30 p.m. All members in good standing are invited to attend and cast their votes for individuals to serve on the board of directors.
The Humane Society of St. Thomas is dedicated to helping make animals safer on St. Thomas. Governed by volunteers and supported by community donations, the society is dedicated to saving the lives of animals and building better relationships between people and pets. Supported by a membership of 600, the organization takes in nearly 3,000 cats and dogs annually, of which several hundred are adopted or reunited with their owners, a release said.
