July 3, 2004 – Raphael S. Munchez Sr. was selected as the Legionnaire of the Year recently at the American Legion Department of Puerto Rico Convention held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Munchez is the adjutant for the Myron G. Danielson American Legion Post Number 85, located on St. Croix.
He was selected from a field of members from over 50 American Legion Posts located in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
