June 15, 2004 – The Rotary East club will meet 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the Sapphire Beach Resort meeting room.
The program will be by Diana White, assistant district governor, District 7020. She will present information on Rotary District and international plans for the coming year, as well as important club level information.
A press release from the club said, "Diana is a very good speaker and this should be an interesting program."
In other club news there was a request concerning the first day of school project.
Susan Roy has asked that all club members and friends request copies of the publication "Helping Your Child Succeed in School" publication from the department of education. She would like to include this in the first day of school packages. Members can get 50 copies of the publication by calling 1-877-4-ed-pybs.
