CAHS Class of 1984 to Celebrate – for Two Weeks

June 4, 2004 – The Charlotte Amalie High School Reunion Class of 1984 is pleased to announce its 20th Anniversary Reunion Celebration will take place from June 5 through June 11 on St. Thomas. Members of the class on island as well as those who reside stateside and have traveled home will celebrate this milestone in their lives.
"We are gathering our forces to celebrate our 20th reunion anniversary, class president Dwayne Benjamin said. "I expect this reunion to be joyful and emotional, as great friendships have lasted through thick and thin."
On June 2 the Class of '84 gave a monetary gift to its alma mater for the purchase of audiovisual equipment. The class will continue to celebrate with a series of activities beginning with Welcome Reception & Social at Palms Courts Harborview on Saturday, June 5; and Sunday worship at Faith Christian Fellowship followed by brunch. Other activities include bowling, karaoke, a Beach Party at Magens Bay, Pizza Hut lunch, and a social at Kokopelli's Café followed a movie at Caribbean Cinemas. The week culminates with a Family Fun Day & Barbecue at the Lindberg Bay Water Park and a Basketball Challenge against the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Class of 1984 at the CAHS gymnasium.
On June 13, members of the Class will set sail for a Caribbean Cruise from June 13-20 on the Carnival Destiny.

Saturday, June 5
7-11 p.m. Welcome Reception and Class Social. Palms Court Harborview Hotel, Estate Solberg ($10 per person).
Sunday, June 6
9:30 a.m. Worship service. Faith Christian Fellowship Church, 3B Estate Annas Retreat.
Noon-2 p.m. Brunch. Marriott's Frenchman's Reef ($25 per person).
5 p.m. CAHS Graduation. UVI Sports and Fitness Center.
Monday, June 7
6:30-10 p.m. Bowling Night. V.I. Christian Ministries Bowling Lanes.
Tuesday, June 8
7-11 p.m. Karaoke, Bolongo Bay. Iggies at Bolongo Bay. Joint activity with Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Class of 1984.
Wednesday, June 9
10 a.m.-3 p.m. Beach Party. Magens Bay, Shed No. 3.
Thursday, June 10
10-11:30 a.m. Paradise Tramway
noon-3 p.m. Lunch. Pizza Hut on the Waterfront.
6:30-8:30 p.m. Social. Kokopeli Café (next to Caribbean Cinemas).
9 p.m. Movie Night. Caribbean Cinemas, Market Square East ($6 per person). Also IEKHS High School Class of 1984 Movie Night
Friday, June 11
11 a.m.-4 p.m. Family Day and Barbecue. Lindbergh Bay Water Park.
7-10 p.m. Basketball Challenge. CAHS gymnasium. CAHS vs. IEKHS Class of 1984
Sunday, June 13
noon. Cruise aboard the Carnival Destiny.
