Rains Delay 2 Employee Recognition Week Events

May 25, 2005 – Rains have led to the postponement of two activities on St. Thomas that had been scheduled by the government's Personnel Division as part of Employee Recognition Week.
The Fun Night planned for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Emile Griffith Ballpark has been rescheduled for June 8, according to a Government House release issued on Tuesday.
The postponement was made necessary because of the saturation of the ballfield, Kevin Rodriquez, acting Personnel director, said.
And a Walk-A-Thon to be held in conjunction with the local chapter of the American Cancer Society also will be held instead on June 8.
For more information, call the Personnel office at 774-8588.
