POLICE PROVIDE IDENTITIES OF TWO DEAD MEN

May 11, 2004 – A man shot to death in a Contant area parking lot late on the night of May 5 has been identified as Winston Saddler, 30, according to Sgt. Thomas Hannah, Police Department spokesman.
Saddler was found slumped over in the Cartech Imports and NAPA Auto Supply parking lot with several gunshot wounds to his chest. No identification was found on his person.
In an unrelated incident, a homeless man whose body was found floating near the Coast Guard dock on the Charlotte Amalie waterfront on April 30 was identified by family members as Antonio Cecil Jeffers, 34, Hannah said.
In Jeffers' case, the cause of death "has not yet been found," Hannah said on Tuesday.
