May 5, 2004 – The Red Hook Alliance and the Northside Civic Organization invite other organizations and the entire community to help clean up the Vessup Bay beach and surrounding areas beginning at 8:30 a.m. on May 15.
Those wishing to take part should bring protective clothing and gloves and meet at Eudora Kean High School under the shed. Trash bags and drinking water will be provided. A release states: Bring your swim suits for when the work is done!
