DEEDS OFFICES CLOSING FOR COMPUTER UPGRADES

April 21, 2004 – The Recorder of Deeds offices are closed to the public for two days on St. Thomas this week and will be closed for two days on St. Croix next week for the upgrade of the division's computer system and the training of employees in its use.
A release issued on Wednesday from the Office of Lieutenant Governor, under which the Recorder of Deeds Division falls, said the St. Thomas office was closed on Wednesday and would also be closed on Thursday.
It said the St. Croix office would close next Monday and Tuesday.
Record of Deeds staff will answer telephone inquiries during the days the offices are closed, the release stated. The numbers to call are 774-9906 on St. Thomas and 773-6449 on St. Croix.
