Dear Source,
There is only one word to describe Alicia "Chucky" Hansen's demeanor in the photos of her recent public appearance! Smug! "An easy win," said our venerable ex-crossing guard. In fact, in one photo, she is positively beaming. Does she know something that we don't know? I find it hard to believe that a situation as serious as federal indictments would be "business as usual". Perhaps it is a mask of bravado and our glorious leaderine is trying to make the best of a bad situation.
The vast majority of us, including the poorest of our village, can only dream of the huge sums of money and massive hourly wages that are being discussed in this case. I think it is only fair to us that this matter is treated seriously and with some concern for the gravity of these charges — would that her brow weighed as heavily as these charges.
