JAN. 31 JOEL PRESS JAZZ CONCERT CANCELED

Jan. 26, 2004 – Organizers of the jazz concert featuring Boston saxophonist Joel Press at St. George Village Botanical Garden scheduled for Saturday announced on Monday that the event has been canceled.
Press, who performed on Saturday, Jan. 24, at Coral World on St. Thomas, was to have appeared with St. Croix artists Otto James on piano, Mario Thomas on bass and C.J. Everett on drums in a concert to benefit the Jazz Arts Virgin Islands Scholarship Fund.
