GOVERNOR MAKES NOMINATION TO WAPA BOARD

Dec. 29, 2003 — Governor Charles W. Turnbull has nominated St. John native Cheryl Boynes-Jackson to serve on the Water and Power Authority Board of Directors. If confirmed, Boynes-Jackson will replace William Lomax whose term has expired.
Boynes-Jackson has served as vice-president/general manager of Boyson Inc. for more than 20 years and is a boat captain. Additionally, she's served on boards for the American Red Cross, United Way, St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce and the St. John Community Foundation.
If confirmed by the 25th Legislature, Boynes-Jackson will serve a three-year term.
