Dec. 17, 2003 – The St. Croix Landmarks Society has announced the following yearend holiday closings and special hours for its museums:
The Carl and Marie Lawaetz Museum in Little La Grange will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 26 and 31 and on Jan. 1 and 2. It will then resume the normal winter hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For more information, call 772-1539.
The Estate Whim Plantation Museum will be closed on Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan.1, 2 and 3. It will then resume the normal winter hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. For more information, call 772-0598.
The Landmarks Society Library and Archives will be closed on Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan. 1, 2 and 3. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 27 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 29, 30 and 31. Regular hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. For more information or an appointment, call 772-0598.
