GOVERNOR TO MEET WITH ST. JOHN RESIDENTS

Dec. 12, 2003 – St. John residents will have an opportunity on Wednesday evening to raise concerns and ask questions of Gov. Charles W. Turnbull, thanks to the St. John Community Foundation, which is sponsoring a town meeting at the Westin Resort.
The session is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom.
The governor "has accepted the foundation's invitation to attend this meeting and to answer questions and discuss issues and concerns particularly relevant to St. John," foundation executive director Carole DeSenne said in a release distributed on Friday.
St. John residents also are invited to submit questions and concerns in writing to the foundation in advance of the meeting so that they can be laid before the governor, she said.
Such questions and comments should be e-mailed to the St. John Community Foundation or faxed to 693-9410. Items should include the sender's name and contact information.
For more information, call DeSenne at the foundation office, 693-9410.
