GOVERNOR'S ST. JOHN PARTY FOR KIDS IS DEC. 15

Dec. 3, 2003 – Gov. Charles W. Turnbull will host the traditional Christmas parties for children on St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John, Government House announced on Wednesday.
Each event will feature food and drinks; entertainment by bands, choirs and dance groups; and raffle drawings, among other events, according to a release.
The St. Thomas party will take place Dec. 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Emancipation Garden.
The St. Croix party will be held on Dec. 13 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Agriculture Fairgrounds.
The St. John party is set for Dec. 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Cruz Bay Park.
Parents are asked to accompany their children to the festivities.
In the release Turnbull thanked his sister Mavis Turnbull Richards for coordinating this year's parties and the various committees that are working to make them a success.
