VIHA IS REGISTERING FOR YOUTHBUILD PROGRAM

Nov. 24, 2003 — The V.I. Housing Authority's Public Relations/Resident Services Department is accepting registration in the 2004 YouthBuild program, for both the St. Croix and the St. Thomas/St. John Districts.
Dec. 12 is the last day to register.
YouthBuild is a multi-strategy youth and community development program that offers opportunities for unemployed, out-of-school or unskilled young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 to earn a General Education Diploma, acquire job skills, and learn construction trades through classroom and on-site training, a release said.
Registration forms may be obtained from the community service specialist in each housing community, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
