CARNIVAL COMMITTEE DATES OF NOTE: NOV. 21 AND 30

Nov. 19, 2003 – The V.I. Carnival Committee issued a reminder on Wednesday that Nov. 30 is the deadline for 2004 Carnival Queen candidates to submit their applications.
The committee also announced that a meeting of all subcommittee chairs will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday at the VICC offices, located on lower Main Street across from the Finance Department headquarters.
Applications for the Carnival 2004 Queen Selection Show were distributed to most St. Thomas public and private high schools, according to a release, but copies also may be obtained at the Carnival Committee office. Lorna Webster, chair of the Queens Subcommittee, asked that all persons interested in competing submit their applications "as soon as possible."
More information about both the general meeting and the queen competition may be obtained by calling the committee office at 776-3112.
