BOTANICAL GARDEN SETS MEETING

Nov. 10, 2003 – The St. George Village Botanical Garden is extending an invitation to all St. Croix and St. Thomas residents to attend an information and planning meeting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15.
This is the second quarterly meeting for Botanical Garden supporters in 2003. Following Executive Director Brinsley Burbidge’s update on Garden activities, successes and future plans, Estate Planning Attorney Linda Baxter will make a presentation on the benefits of charitable giving. She will show how people can help the Garden and, in so doing, help themselves and their heirs.
After a raffle drawing, Burbidge will lead a tour of the Garden's palm collection. Refreshments and an opportunity to chat with members of the Board of Governors will follow.
Garden members are encouraged to bring their spouses, friends, employees and potential new members to this educational meeting. It will be held on the East Gallery of the Great Hall. Call Lesley Hoffman at 692-2874 for more information.
