FEDERAL HEALTH BILL WOULD END V.I. MEDICAID CAP

Medicaid cap: Great and wonderful news for the residents of the Virgin Islands. A special congratulations goes out to Delegate to Congress Donna Christian Christiansen and Priscilla Berry-Quetel, executive director of the Bureau of Health and Medical Assistance for the dedicated and untiring efforts to bring about the proposed change to the Medicaid reimbursement formula. These two individuals more than any other government officials of whom I am aware have done more to bring about this proposed change in Medicaid reimbursement over the past five to seven years!
The Delegate and Ms. Berry-Quetel have spent countless hours preparing, discussing and stating their positions on the subject to every Congressman and Senator who would listen to them. It has been a long process and unrelenting effort on their parts to arrive at this point of consideration.
Congratulations to both of these dedicated leaders in our community for all that they do!
