Oct. 9, 2003 — The dates are set in both districts for police officer entrance examinations, and the deadline for acceptance of applications is Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The St. Croix examination will be given on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 23-24, and the St. Thomas examination will be Saturday, Oct. 25, Director of Personnel Joanne U. Barry has announced.
Interested candidates are required to submit a high school diploma, proof of U.S. citizenship, a valid driver's license and Social Security card along with the completed application. Application forms are available at the Division of Personnel, GERS Complex 3rd Floor on St. Thomas, and Orange Grove Shopping Center, Bays No. 6,7 and 8 on St. Croix.
Qualified candidates will receive an admission card and study guide on Oct. 17. The admission card, the study guide and a valid photo ID are required for admission to the testing site.
