MINORITY SEEKING COMMUNITY'S IDEAS

Sept. 26, 2003 – The minority caucus of the 25th Legislature has called upon the community to submit recommendations to any one of the five minority members on how to address the V.I. government's current fiscal crisis.
In a release distributed on Friday, the minority leader, Sen. Usie Richards said: "We have issued the minority caucus 'cost reduction and government improvement policy actions' and our 'revenue generating and government efficiency actions' in our attempt to offer solutions to our current crisis." Richards said the minority senators want to know what the community's ideas are. "We urge our residents, whether you work for the government or in the private sector, to submit your suggestions in writing."
