AT-LARGE SELECTION OF SENATORS IS UNFAIR TO ALL

Dear Source,
Being a member of the community for 14 years, I have always thought that the at-large selection of senators has been unfair for everyone in the Virgin Islands. There is no accountability. A couple of years ago we voted to reduce the number of senators and the Legislature said "No, the people dem were ill inform. They don't know what's good for them." I for one don't like the race issue being brought up. I would not vote for anyone because of race or color. My concern is to have representation, someone that would be responsible for what they did or didn't do in office. Someone who would have to do what the people wanted or not be re-elected, instead of the free-for-all we now have. What are the senators scared of? Losing their phony baloney job!!
