Sept. 26, 2003 — Services are Saturday at Christchurch Methodist for Vandell Thomas, 62, of Pile Strade No. 2, who died Sept. 16 at the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital.
The first viewing is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The second viewing is from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church preceding the service.
Thomas is survived by wife, Hyacinth Adeline Thomas; children, Linda Thomas Adams in St. Thomas and Vanleer Thomas Pierce in North Carolinal stepchildren Vaselia E. Thomas and Shena E. Donovan; brothers, Ludrick Thomas, Vernon Thomas and Sanford Thomas; sisters, Mildred Donovan, Doreen Adams, Earline Smith, Mayrose Adams, Claris Francis and Janet Doeah; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
