DATES SET FOR CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTIES

'Tis the season to be jolly, and Gov. Charles Turnbull is getting into the spirit with his annual Children's Christmas parties on St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
The parties include refreshments and gifts for the children.
The parties kick off at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at Buddhoe Park in Frederiksted, St. Croix. The event includes the lighting of Santa's Village and a Christmas parade. Other activities include jazz music at sunset.
Santa visits St. John on Dec. 17. The party starts at 5 p.m. in Cruz Bay Park. Love City Pan Dragons, St. John Majorettes and Morton's Mocko Jumbies will entertain.
In St. Thomas, the party begins at 5 p.m. Dec. 19 in Emancipation Garden. The Rising Stars and the Addelita Cancryn School Choir will perform.
Turnbull urged all parents to attend with their children.
