The Government Employees Retirement System will hold a daylong pre-retirement workshop for members over 30 years of age in the third-floor conference room of the GERS Building on St. Thomas. Topics to be covered include Social Security, health insurance, system benefits, financial planning and legal rights. The deadline to pre-register is Friday, Sept. 7.
