FREE IMMUNIZATIONS OFFERED

April 11, 2001— The Department of Health will offer free immunization shots to children from 2 months to 3-years-old, in observance of National Infant Immunization Week, celebrated during the week of April 16.
According to Health Department acting commissioner, Dr. Mavis L. Matthew, the project will be coordinated by the Woman Infants and Children Program and the Department of Health.
St. John parents and guardians can bring their children for shots from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 at the Myrah Keating Smith Clinic.
Free immunizations will be given in St. Thomas from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital Community Health Clinic on the second floor.
St. Croix children can be brought to the Sunny Isles WIC office from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 20 at the Sunny Isles Shopping Center.
