3-DAY CARNIVAL LEAVE FOR NONESSENTIAL WORKERS

Gov. Charles W. Turnbull has authorized all commissioners and agency heads to grant three days of administrative leave to nonessential employees for Carnival.
For St. Thomas and St. John, leave is granted for the Carnival Food Fair from noon to 5 p.m. April 25. Leave is granted territory-wide for J'ouvert on April 26, the Children's Parade on April 27 and Adults Parade on April 28.
Leave does not apply to essential employees, those on a regular rotating shift or on annual or sick leave. Future leave will not be granted to essential employees or those whose shift happens to fall on a day in which other employees are granted administrative leave.
