MORE ANGER FOLLOWING MORGAN TRIAL VERDICT

Dear Editor:
I echo Ms. Jorda's sentiments regarding the jury in the Morgan case. I sincerely hope that those men and women can live with their injustice for the rest of their lives and that they never have to experience what Dr. Hess will live with – ingrained in his mind – for the rest of his life.
I hope that those few days of Christmas celebration were worth their stupidity and their insensitive demeanor. I hope that every time they open their eyes in the morning and look into their mirror, they see Dr. Hess and Ms. Morgan staring back at them. And I hope that every time they have a dream, it is nothing but their conscience – if they have one – screaming at them for letting those criminals go.
As far as I am concerned, they were set free because that jury had no respect for decent human beings and that they value human life as worth a hill of beans.
Yes, Ms. Jorda, may God forgive them. But also may He never let them forget their cruelty. I am a Puerto-Crucian, who once again is disgusted with the quality of life on St. Croix.
If I sound angry, believe me, I am.
