Harolyn Blackwell, an outstanding Metropolitan Opera star will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Reichhold Center for the Arts.
Blackwell, a charismatic performer with the Metropolitan Opera has established herself as one of the finest and most versatile singers of her generation. She performs in recitals and concert halls worldwide.
Major opera companies she has performed with include the Metropolitan Opera, the Opera de Nice, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the San Francisco Opera, the Seattle Opera, the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the National Symphony.
Blackwell has appeared on Broadway and has collaborated on several Broadway recordings.
She has appeared in a number of national telecasts, including the Metropolitan Opera's production of "Un Ballo in Maschera" with Luciano Pavarotti on PBS's Great Performances.
