WHERE IS STX IN STATESIDE TOURISM ADS?

Dear Source:
I am very concerned about the noticeable drop in tourism on St. Croix. We do not have the cruise ship patronage as does our sister island, St. Thomas. In fact, we have two ships a month (if we are lucky) during the summer months.
I am currently in the Los Angeles area for medical treatment and have seen two ads for the USVI on television. Both showed photos of St. John and St. Thomas and mentioned them. There was NO mention of St. Croix. We were only mentioned in the credits: St Thomas, St. John, St. Croix.
Why is this? We have the easternmost point of the US as a draw. We have desert on one end of the island and a rainforest on the other. We are surrounded by beautiful sea. We have rugged areas like the Big Sur area in California. Why, with all our history and space, are we not pushed more?
This is disgusting. Perhaps privatization of the Department of Tourism is the solution. We are certainly not receiving our share from the government, unless you count being taken advantage of — then we are on top!
