The V.I. Carnival Committee has named the 10 finalists and two alternates who will compete for the title of Calypso Monarch for Carnival 2000.
The finalists who are listed by their total points, highest first, are:

3. Incredible Shark
4. Ras Regg
5. Foncie
6. Happy
7. Devon
8. Princess Roselyn
9. Pat Raggy
10. Super T
The alternates are:
11. Renegade
12. Trash Row
The competition will be held at 8 p.m.on May 4 at Lionel Roberts Stadium. For the calypso show only, admission is $12 in advance, $15 at the gate.
