IEKHS STUDENTS DISMISSED DUE TO JOB ACTION

Students of the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School were dismissed at 11 a.m. today as a result of a job action by staff members who are protesting two longstanding problems at the school.
Principal Sinclair Wilkinson in a terse statement said the staff's discontent was centered around slippery conditions in the school's parking lot and leaky conditions in and around the school's gymnasium.
The Department of Education did not comment on the job action or the early dismissal as of publication.
