'HOLIDAY JUMP UP' NOW SET FOR DEC. 10

The Christiansted Restaurant and Retail Association's "Holiday Jump Up" postponed from Nov. 25 because of Hurricane Lenny has been rescheduled for Friday, Dec. 10, from 6 to 10 p.m.
The downtown Christiansted event, in its sixth year, will feature after-hours shopping, street music by youth bands, stilt dancing by the Guardians of Culture mocko jumbies, drawings for prizes, and informational displays by not-for-profit community groups.
There'll be photo opportunities at the Santa Center in the Hotel Caravelle courtyard, and everyone gets to cast a vote for the "best-decorated store."
