LIAT STRIKE ENDED

The management of Caribbean airline LIAT reached a labor agreement last week with the Antigua Workers Union and the LIAT Management Staff Association, ending the dispute that prompted a strike June 22, the company has announced.
The strike stranded a number of down-island-bound passengers at Cyril E. King airport last Tuesday and Wednesday.
All employees have returned to their jobs and the airline resumed its regular schedule last Thursday.
