KEEP AN EYE ON CALVIN PICKERING OF V.I.

Just wanted to give you guys some insight on a native Virgin Islander who may be the
next big athlete from the V.I. next to Timmy D.
My cousin Calvin Pickering is making headlines in the farm system of the Baltimore Orioles. He got a few weeks in the majors last season with the Orioles at the end of the season where he was able to hit a home run off of David Cone of the Yankees and I wanted to give you guys some insight so the people back home can keep up with his progress and enocourage him.
He was recently ranked number 13 of the top 100 minor league prospects by CBS Sportsline and the overall number 1 Orioles prospect.
Now back down in AAA, he is expected to be the leading power hitter for the Orioles'
affiliate, the Rochester Redwings, after getting to see some big league pitchers during this spring training and his stint last season. (http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/8533/redwings.html)<–take a look.
He spent three years at Charlotte Amalie High School before moving to Florida to finish high school and get more exposure. That resulted in him being drafted by the Orioles and the start of his athletic career which has been progressing upward.
Hopefully, I'll be sending more information to you guys soon, or you'll be seeing him
hitting more home runs off of guys like Cone in the near future. I hope you can use this info.
