The Department of Public Works advises the public of upcoming road work on Dalmida Road in the vicinity of Hospital Ground on St. Thomas.
DPW contractor – Grace Civil LLC. – will mobilize on site tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, to begin clearing and grubbing activities ahead of paving operations. Road work is scheduled to be completed by Saturday, May 30.
During this period, the roadway will be closed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Due to the narrow width of the roadway, oncoming traffic cannot be safely accommodated while construction activities are underway. As a result, motorists will not be permitted within the work zone during work hours.
DPW appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as it continues working to improve road conditions throughout the territory.
