Guest Speaker: Cantor Rachel Stock Spilker
The Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas is honored to welcome Cantor Rachel Stock Spilker as our guest speaker for Friday night services on Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m.

Cantor Spilker has served as cantor at Mount Zion Temple in St. Paul, Minnesota, since 1997. She was ordained in 1996 by Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion, where she also earned a Master’s Degree in Sacred Music. She is the founder of the Maayanot Community Mikveh of Minnesota and an active member of the Rising Tide Open Waters Mikveh Network, working to expand access to inclusive, pluralistic mikveh experiences. Cantor Spilker is also the co-author of two children’s books, Yonah and the Mikveh Fish and Miryam’s Dance. Cantor Spilker is married to Rabbi Adam Stock Spilker, and together they have three young adult children.
During the service, Cantor Spilker will speak about the pluralistic mikveh movement and the mikveh her community is currently working to build in Minnesota. She will also be available to connect informally with congregants during the oneg, answering questions and continuing the conversation.
We look forward to an inspiring evening of learning, reflection, and community.
