Hospital Ground Trash Bins Relocated

The V.I. Waste Management Authority relocated the 6-yard bin near the Jacob Frett mechanic yard by Hospital Ground to make trash collection more efficient and save money, the agency announced Wednesday.

The bin will now be a few yards away next to the existing bins near the Winston Raymo Center.  Instead of two bins, there will be a total of three 6-yard bins at the Raymo Center site.

The relocation represents a consolidation that provides for easier service access for the collection truck and a better use of resources, according to the VIWMA.
