Ernest E. Stanley Dies at 100

Ernest E. Stanley, of Catherine’s Rest, passed away on April 29. He was 100 years old.

Ernest E. Stanley was 100 years old.

He is preceded by his spouse, Jessica P. Stanley.

He is survived by his daughters, Yvonne V. Stanley, Monica Stanley-Brandy; sons, Edred “Sugar” Stanley, Everton “Shappy” Stanley, Michael Stanley, Oral “Orie” Stanley; grandchildren, Tija, Sherene, Brittani, Amber, Breanna, Edred Jr., Devon, Tenesha, Shemika, Everton Jr., Dejuan, and Shanori Stanley, Jason Jones, Dave, Dorothy, and Natasha Hodge, Shanice Tricoche, Ashaunte and Shaheim Jones,  T’Shaune Brabell; great-grandchildren, Derkya and Denva Stanley, Tymeria and Sura Hodge, De’Andre, Daniel and Jelissa Jones, Jahleem and Jahliyah Gordon, Sheldon Roach Jr., Demar Stanley, Rakem Hendrickson Jr., Collin Williams Jr., Khaia Thomas, Cailey and Cyril Andrews Jr., XaNiyah and Aniyrah Hurst; sisters, Margaret Claxton, Marilyn Samuel; brothers, Thomas Stanley, David Stanley, Elton Stanley, Franklyn Stanley; nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; daughters-in-law, Garilyn Stanley, Eugenia Stanley, Rachel Stanley, Pamela Stanley; son-in-law, Dwayne Brandy; cousins and other relatives, Lornette Kelly, Avis Stanley-Benjamin, Kirtley Stanley, Quinton Stanley Jacinth Stanley; special family, Mrs. Sarah Harvey; cousins, extended family, and countless cherished friends whose names are too numerous to mention.

Funeral service will be held on May 21 at Grace Baptist Central Church (Mt. Pellier). Viewing will begin at 9 am, with service at 10 am. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
