Kenneth Hazel, better known as “Phensic,” died on Aug. 5 in Connecticut.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Wilhelmina Hazel; sisters: Lorenza Jeffers and Klighty Pogson; brothers-in-law: Wendell Jeffers, Albert Pogson, Anthony and Garrie Harris; sisters-in-law: Jacqueline and Caroline Prentice; aunt-in-law, Rosetta Phipps; and uncle-in-law, Jonathan Harris.

He is also survived by special friend, Gweneth Prentice; other close friends: Jalanie Andrews, Noel Mills, Raphael Evelyn, “Big T” Trotman and Azariah Williams; co-workers at the Juan De Lugo Federal Building; as well as many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 9, at New Herrnhut Moravian Church. Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
