The anonymous tip service Crime Stoppers USVI is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects responsible for the Crimes of the Week, a homicide and a case of repeated vandalism.
– Good Hope Country Day School on St. Croix has been vandalized on several occasions in 2020 and 2021. The damages exceed $50,000 and the public is being asked to help assist police in identifying the subjects captured on video during one of the evenings. Most of the vandalism is occurring between midnight and 3 a.m. The individuals are on foot and typically when seen on camera, they are in a party of four.
– At 8:30 a.m. Oct. 3, 2014, the Virgin Islands Police Department was dispatched to a residence in Estate Grove Place, St. Croix, where a 33-year-old woman, Shukura St. Louis, was found shot to death. When police arrived at the scene, the mother of the victim told officers that she heard a gunshot sometime after midnight, but she did not pay much attention to it. When she awoke in the morning, she went to check on her daughter and found her unresponsive in her bed with a gunshot wound to her body.

Callers will be issued a confidential PIN and are encouraged to check back frequently for reward eligibility. Information that leads to the resolution of a crime can qualify the caller for an anonymous cash reward.
