Deborah M. Meade died on Sunday, April 28.
The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 30, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., Friday, May 31, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Deborah will be laid to rest in the Eastern Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Stagger Van Beverhoudt; her father, Phillip Meade Sr.; her brothers: David Meade, Phillip Meade Jr. and Paul Meade. She is also survived by her adopted son, Mackishawn Ford; her adopted brother, Worrion Harrigan; her aunts: Joycelyn Stagger, Sharon Edwards, Beatrice Christian, Delores Stagger, Cece Marcus, Dorothy Brown, Patricia McGee, Lynette Harris, Elinore Harris and Roslyne White; and her uncles: Melvin Caesar, Elroy Benjamin, Clement Benjamin and Roosevelt Benjamin.
Also surviving her are special cousins, special friends, godmothers, godfather and her Headstart family with whom she worked for the last 22 years; as well as her many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends too numerous to mention.
