Leroy Payne, also known as "ToToot," "Yusuf," "De Hen," "De Elder" or "Rasta," died on April 2, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his wife: Dinah O’Reilly-Payne; daughters: Diafra Payne-Roach, Reeshemah Payne-Todman and Aisha Payne; son: Richard Payne; grandchildren: Kai, Kobi and K’mari Todman, Niya Austin, Jahzara and Jelani Roach, Kadyrah and Joy Payne; great grandchild, Shawn Martin; daughter-in-law, Erin Payne; sons-in-law: Tony Roach, Cy Todman and Curtis Lucien; and sisters: Maria Payne-Zapata, Olive Payne-Roberts, Alicia Payne-Pipes, Edna Payne-Perez, Idalia Payne, Nora Payne-Paniagua, Luz Payne-Larsen, Alice Payne, Robertine Payne-Stroter, Joleen Payne, Pearline Christian, Hyacinth Payne and Sherry Payne.
He is also survived by brothers: Lewis Payne, Wayne Payne, Aubrey Payne, Anthony Payne, Hugh Milton Payne, Enrique Payne, Reginald Payne Jr., Reginald Payne, and Vicente and Candido Elias; aunt, Albertha Payne; special friends: Carlos "Chico" Ventura, Wayne “Panther” Payne, Pastor Williams, Harold "Duece" Roebuck, Randy Rawlins, Bevi McFarlane, Duke, Bowman, Abadan Ritter, Meigo Belardo, Kareem "Bello" Felix, Inches, Chocolate, Jubba "Goof," Michael Joseph, Burt Bryan, Bomani, Pennyfeather, Cock Fighting brothers and sisters, Ray "Haseem Iles, Malik Bruce and "Corner Boy;" as well as many other special friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at the Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church.
